Educational Eligibility:-

  • For Army:-  Candidates Passed / Appearing 10+2 Exam in any stream from any Recognized Board in India.
  • For Airforce & Naval:-  Candidates Passed / Appearing 10+2 Exam with Physics and Mathematics from any Recognized Board in India.

Age Eligibility

  • Candidates Not be Born Before: 2nd July 2003
  • Candidates Not be Born After: 1st July 2006

Selection Process

Union Public Service Commission is going to conduct a selection for a National Defence Academy and Naval Academy. The whole process is conducted in Two Phases, Phase I- Written Examination Test and Phase II – Interview (SSB).

Phase I (Recruitment Test)-

  • The Test is Pen & Paper Based and will be Objective Multiple type questions.
  • There should be 2 Papers of 2.30 hours each
  • The test is both the language Hindi & English
  • There will be penalty for wrong answers. Every wrong answer will carry a deduction of one-third marks.

The SSB Interview is divided into two stages. Candidates qualifying the Stage 1 are called for Stage 2 exam. The stage 1 of SSB Interview comprises Officer Intelligence Rating (OIR) tests and Picture Perception and Description Test (PP&DT). The stage 2 comprises Group Testing Officer Tasks, Psychology Tests and the Conference. This stage carries a total of 900 marks.
